After finishing the 2017 football season at 5-5 including losing 3 out of the last 5 games head coach Rick Giancola did not question the direction of his program heading into the 2018 season. Instead coach Giancola knew that the team chemistry they had built in 2017 was going to translate to better results in 2018.

“ The difference between last year and this year is the guys we have are buying in on some of the things we’ve said to them. For example how they are supposed to act outside of the football field, how they are supposed to be on time, how they deal with adversity and when they see someone doing something wrong to stand up be a leader and say something.” Gioncola went on to say “the little character things that we have our players buy into are what translate into better results on the field.”
